Getting to Glan Y Gro
You can find Glan y Gro on Google maps
if you search for B&Bs in Bala. We are the
red dot right under the B4403 sign.
Alternatively, here are some
instructions.
Take the A5 to Corwen where you can pick
up the A494 to Bala.
Just before you go into Bala take a left
turn at the junction onto the
B4391.
As you go over the bridge turn right onto
the B4403 to Llangower.
After about 1 mile you pass a white hotel
on the left, Glan Y Gro is the next turn on
the right. The sat nav will want you to go straight on and make a left turn, ignore it!
However, if you cannot come by car and
want to come by public transport it is
fairly easy.

You can connect to this bus at Chester,
Wrexham or Ruabon railway stations. Trains
from Marylebone station in London go direct
to Ruabon or Wrexham. Trains from
Birmingham International Airport also go
direct to Wrexham or Ruabon. Also, trains
go from London or Manchester direct to
Chester.
So you can fly into Manchester airport and
get a train to Chester with one change at
Manchester Piccadilly.
